Scott Bramble

Scott Bramble began his formal apprenticeship tattooing in October 1990. At the time he had no idea that so many years later, he would not only still be involved in the industry, but that he has been able to truly embrace and be embraced by it.

After 9 years of working in shops primarily in and around Bucks County Pennsylvania, Scott opened his own studio: Mercury Tattoo Studio and Gallery in Glenside, PA. That shop was open for just under 12 years in that location. There isn't enough time to list all of the amazing people and experiences that came from those years in Glenside. The shop was successful and well respected... but the desire to be closer to the area he where he grew up led to the decision to move the shop to Doylestown, the county seat of Bucks County. That was in November, 2011.

Now, with Mercury Tattoo located in Doylestown, Scott has been able to truly settle in and create the environment he has wanted out of his shop all along. The history in the region combined with the cultural interest of the people in the area has made for a perfect fit.

When not actually tattooing Scott has managed to find some time for a life outside the shop. He and his fiancee live in Upper Bucks County in the woods with their two dogs Hoss and Hank. He manages to make time to draw and paint, usually pairing the illustrations with his other passion of US HIstory. Primarily focusing on the Civil and Revolutionary Wars. On the rare chance he has time beyond all of that he makes a point of enjoying the natural offerings of the area. There are so many beautiful lakes, streams, and rivers nearby that fishing and kayaking are the perfect ways to do just that.
