Check back here for any updates regarding our

new protocols and practices in response to

Stay safe & take care of each other.

When you are visiting Mercury for either a tattoo or a consultation, we have instituted the following protocols:

We are working by appointment only. As much as we love people dropping in to ask about tattoos or just to say “Hi!”, we cannot permit the added traffic in the shop at this time.

If you are currently feeling ill in any way, we ask that you kindly reschedule your appointment. Deposits will be forgiven if it is due to illness. The obvious reason is that we do not want to risk the health of our loved ones and ourselves. However, there is also the point that simply being exposed to someone that has tested positive means we must stay away from the shop for 2 weeks. After 3 months being closed, we cannot take the chance of being closed for several more weeks.

Please call when you arrive. (215) 517-8833. We ask that you wait outside, maintaining six feet of social distancing from other clients. We will let you know when we are ready for you to come in.

Wear a clean, well-fitting cloth mask that covers your nose and mouth. Do not remove the mask while you are in the shop, and avoid adjusting or touching the outside of it.

If you do not have an acceptable mask, we will have packs with liquid hand sanitizer spray and a disposable KN95 mask available for $10.

Come to the shop by yourself. We must make a point of limiting the amount of people in the studio. We each have a private work room, but those rooms are not large enough to safely accommodate more than the artist and the individual getting tattooed. If you have a special circumstance that requires you to bring accompaniment, please call the shop at least 24 hours prior to your appointment and we can discuss an alternative scheduling arrangement. (215) 517-8833

When you arrive we will ask to measure and log your temperature using a touch-less infrared thermometer. We will be doing the same thing when we arrive and when we leave each day. The artists’ results will be posted in our work room.

You must Sanitize your hands immediately upon arrival at the sanitization station just inside the front door. And then throughout your appointment we recommend sanitizing regularly.

We will have liquid hand sanitizer spray available for purchase for $5 and a pack with the sanitizer and a KN95 mask for $10

These measures are part of our continued commitment to the health of our artists, our customers, and our community. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
